I just wanted to invite anyone who has not signed up to help with VBS to do so ASAP.  We are going to have a lot of fun!

Happy New Year!  I'm only about three weeks late, but why should this year be any different than all the rest.

Yesterday was Richard's birthday, so I took him to Piropo's for dinner.  We both had the KC Strip.  It was sooooooooo good!  Fortunately one of my bosses had given me a $75 gift certificate for Christmas.  Otherwise we would have had to go to Taco Bell and have the steak burrito.

Well, just thought I would update so my icon wasn't on the bottom of the HFC blog ring any more.  Have a fun weekend!

The Thanksgiving holiday went way too fast.  It was really nice having Katelin home.  We went shopping and to the show to see Pride & Prejudice (good movie).  Kelsey and I did some shopping too.  In fact, I'm pretty much finished with my Christmas shopping.  I'm going to start wrapping this week and put the tree up over the weekend.  Then I can just sit back and enjoy all the festivities!

I'm getting a new dishwasher!  It's suppose to be in today and then Clint Sneden is going to install it for us.  Kelsey wanted us to find a model that also emptied itself.  Poor baby, she is so mistreated and overworked.

Christmas on the River is this Friday.  Weather is suppose to be decent.  Richard gets to go this year too, which is unusual because he usually has to work.

Life is sooooooooooooooo good!

Well the items for the $10,000 scavenger hunt had to be turned in this morning.  Nobody had all 10 items and only 5 teams had 9 items.  We were one of those teams!  Our team name is "Overkill" and consists of my sister Debbie, her son Jeff and me.  On Monday morning at 7:30am, the radio station will hold a reverse lottery, which basically means they put the 5 team names in a hat, draw one out and that team is eliminated.  The last team remaining takes home the money.  Wish us luck!

Kelsey and I went to the PH vs PHS football game tonight.  We left during the 3rd quarter when the score was PH 35, PHS 7.  Not much of a game, but at least it wasn't too cold.

My sisters, mom and I are having a baby shower for my niece Jo Lynn of Sunday afternoon.  This will be her first - a boy name Jaden Joseph!  My other niece Amy will be having her fourth baby next week, but we don't know what she's having.  Our family just keeps growing and growing - I Love It!
